What is the Garden Share Collective?
Hosted by Kate Chadwick from Rosehips & Rhubarb and Kyrstie Barcak from A Fresh Legacy, the Garden Share Collective (GSC) is a group of passionate home gardeners who come together each month to share the joys and trials of growing fruit, vegetables and herbs for their families. Some of us live on farms; others have tiny windowsill gardens. From Canada with its long, snowy winters to inner city London, tropical northern Australia and even the vast, arid outback, we all share a passionate desire to grow healthy, organic food at home.
Every month Kate and Kyrstie provide a theme via the GSC Facebook page, such as fruit, growth or size, to give you inspiration. We also like to share what we are growing, harvesting and our garden to-do lists.
To join in, either contribute a blog post on the last Monday of each month about the theme of the month or join us on Facebook and Instagram using the hashtag #gardensharecollective. If you would like to contribute to the GSC Pinterest group, please let us know.
Our goal is to promote organic gardening and get more families involved in growing their own fresh produce.
How to join in
Write a post about the theme of the month and join in the link-up which starts on the last Monday of the month and runs for 10 days.
Please visit the other blogs in the link-up and offer words of advice, encouragement or sympathy. No one likes to lose a plant to bandicoots, caterpillars or a chicken!
Monthly Feature Gardener
Each month Kyrstie and Kate would like to offer one lucky gardener the opportunity to be featured as the GSC gardener of the month. You will be interviewed and photos of your garden will be shared for all to see. If you would like to be a Gardener of the Month, please contact Kate via her Contact Me page.
